Witold's Report - Auschwitz Catholic Hero's Testimony

Since January 2008 Paradis Judaeorum Foundation (Fundacja Paradis Judaeorum) runs worldwide campaign "Let's Reminisce About Witold Pilecki" ("Przypomnijmy o Rotmistrzu"). Celebrating 60th Anniversary of the tragic death of Polish Catholic Hero - Captain Witold Pilecki, we published in the Internet translated into English, "Witold's Report", written in 1945. This outstanding document shows us the truth about Nazi-German Auschwitz atrocities and commemorates the Heros who dared to face the 20th century evil.

Everyone in the whole world should know the story of Polish Heros from Auschwitz Hell on Earth.

Joyfully Welcome the Bishop of Rome, the Holy Roman Pontiff

I think the suggestion by Hugh McNichol in the following link is a great idea and one that I will share with my pastor. I thought that other readers to this forum might find it of interest and be motivated to share it with their parishes.

Faith, Works, or Both?

I know.

But it has come up all too often these days in my discussions with non-Catholics. That and Reconciliation. Are these big trouble-makers for you guys too?

Not the main question though.

Q: Is just believing in God enough to get you to heaven?

A: "Is it enough for you to live your life for Him? like imagine that you knew beyond a shawdow of doubt that there was 2 million dollars on Main Street. you believed this with all your heart. wouldn't you do everything in your power to get that money? so if you have the "right" ( for the lack of a better word) kind of faith for God..you're going to want to live for Him. however if you just believe in GOd but don't feel a need to devote your life to Him that just means you REALLY don't believe in everything God is and everything He has in store for you if you follow Him with your whole heart. That is the kind of faith God calls us too. so yes it is enough just to believe in God IF that faith results a desire to pursue God. no it is NOT enough if the faith is just agreeing that God exisists."

In a nutshell- " 'Are works necessary' is a non-issue, since if you really love God, you'll do good works anyway.

Thoughts on this from a Catholic standpoint?

Jesus ever present in the Old

He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with man{na}, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

Dt 8:3

Jesus is that Word - Logos -

Fifth Marian Dogma as an argument in a divorce case.

Do not the Marian theologians and canon lawyers come across as lawyers and advisors in a civil divorce case? Is the divorce court system of America driving these decisions?

Destroying the marriage of the Holy Family. Look, they have already convinced us that Mary has divorced her husband and married her Son by calling Him the New Adam instead of the Last Adam, New Adam being the rightful title of Saint Joseph since he was her husband.

Just because we have fallen marriages, the Holy marriage of Joseph and Mary must fall, or are we the ones, who need to change.

Is this why JP II wrote the exhortation “Guardian of the Redeemer” to warn us? Are not the words of this dogma words of restoration. All right then, was marriage restored or just woman. Are women the only ones Christ centered? If so, then maybe, they are the only on qualified to be priests. Look, was Eve the only one to fall, therefore the only one to be restored. No, the marriage of Adam and Eve fell, therefore it is marriage Christ restored when he entered humanity. Yes, He restored Israel also, in so doing, He created the Church.

Shreveport's new bishop!

Thanks for all the prayers! As you may have noticed, I've posted a couple of times about our diocese, the lack of bishop, and the shrinking number of priests.

God has answered my prayers favorably. The new bishop, Msgr. Michael Duca, was the rector at Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Tx, and the vocational director for the diocese of Dallas. We not only got a new bishop, but one with a focus on vocations!

God be praised!

The little “T” tradition depicting Christ as the New Adam

The little “T” tradition depicting Christ as the New Adam
by Donald F Hudzinski

Looking at the book of Genesis and the story of the garden, we could say that Christ was the New Adam. But I say, that He is more than a guard, that He is the director, and His Father the Proprietor. He is the One who fires the Old Adam, who failed to guard Him and the contents of the garden. He also assigned a new guard(see Gen 3:24).

As the Director of the garden, he also fix up the mess the old guard left behind. This is the role I see Christ in, the one, of the Director. This makes His part in the New Testament more plausible. The Incarnation is a story of restoration, of a new creation, and a new garden.

I have girl problems. Should I enter the seminary?

I'm a 26 y.o. guy who is back to considering the priesthood because my relationship with girls have been hurtful and confusing - for both the girls and myself. Basically, my predicament is that girls I like end up not liking me and girls who like me don't turn out to be my type, which sucks because they end up being hurt. How I wish I can like them back but obviously I can't.

I consider myself to be a solid Catholic. I fully and wholeheartedly agree and obey the teachings of the Catholic Church. I am also very aware of my shortcomings and weaknesses as a sinner. However, chastity and purity are not particularly a problem for me. I can live a chaste and pure life for the most part. I only fail occasionally. To be more specific, I can live without pornography and masturbation. The odd time that I succumb happens maybe 4 to 6 times a year.
